Hello I have a problem with a driver for my HP Pavilion G7 2251dx

I installed Windows 7. My laptop came with Windows 8 by default, but I downgraded and installed all other drivers needed except for this component.

You guys could help me find the latest driver?

  At present, there is no Windows 7 driver for webcam but you can try the Vista driver. It work?

  If this isn't the case, you can download the Windows 7 driver for another model A300. Normally, it should also work on your model.

  I have a problem with my the right webcam driver after installing Windows 7 on my Satellite A300-1LT, I got win XP before and it works great. In downloads is available just for xp, vista 32-bit and 64-bit driver (I tried with the same results). Webcam app windows startup and gives me a msg of error that I have to reinstall or install new drivers of webcam. Webcam works for example. buth Skype with (very) poor quality.

  I tried to find wich cam comes (chicony?) also but nothing.

  Does Enyone else has experienced this problem and how to resolve? Help, please..

  As far as I know that you can also use the Satellite A500 webcam driver because it s equipped of webcam Chicony too.

  So take a look for A500 downloads. There, you can find Windows 7 driver for webcam that should work on your model too.

  Gigaware webcams are sold by Radio Shack..

  There is no site Web Gigaware containing support or drivers for your webcam that I can find. You need technical support from Radio Shack.

  Also, I can only find mention of drivers up to and including XP that would be worth zero for Windows 7.

  My advice to you is this. If you want or need a webcam, go out and buy a new one and make sure that your choice is Logitech or Microsoft. Both companies provide excellent support products bearing their names.

  1. 1st you download Webcam Driver.
  2 radio Shack PC VGA came pilot
  3. after that, install the Webcam driver in the system.
  4. installation of the Webcam Driver
  5. go into the control panel
  6. click on the system icon
  7. click on the Hardware tab
  8 then click on Device Manager
  9. Select the printer or the unknown device where yellow question marks points sign in this regard.
  10 make a right click on it and uninstall it.
  11. after that go to the top of the Device Manager and click on check for material changes.
  12 installing the driver start the wizard.
  13 brows your driver from the hard drive and click Next.

  I n t have remote to test my Qosmio F50 so that I can t but if there is no driver for Windows 7, I guess that the 64 bit Vista driver should work fine on Windows 7. In addition most Vista drivers also work on Windows 7 so it s worth a try! :)

  But from my own experience, I can say that Windows 7 64 bit works like a charm on Qosmio F50 and in my opinion better than Vista. I used all the drivers from the official website of Toshiba and don t have problems.
  Everything works great! :)
